About the Role
We have gone from zero revenue to 30 M SEK in seven years and are now looking for a Head of Consulting to help us reach 100 M by growing our consultancy business.
The Head of Consulting is a frontline management role with three primary responsibilities: consultant services delivery, personnel management, and margin management in support of growing ARR (annual recurring revenue) and customer LTV (lifetime value) at Stakater. More specifically you will be responsible for the successful delivery of consulting services as well as the coordination of activities and information between key engagement stakeholders. And you will be also responsible for the management of consulting personnel, which would include participation in staffing decisions, performance reviews, and career development support.
Requirements
Primary Job Responsibilities
People Management
Oversee billable consulting services, primarily, in the context of managing engagements and providing team oversight, and ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery of services
Take lead on the technical development of all team members by implementing collaborative knowledge sharing to maintain market-leading technical advantage
Assist direct reports in personal and career development by providing regular feedback, coaching, and guidance on personal development, and encouraging direct reports to take ownership of their personal career path
Participate in recruiting and employee development activities to ensure a balanced team with the right set of skills.
Sales
Ensure steady growth of the team with well-balanced mix of personalities and technical abilities
Ensures that all assigned team members have a solid understanding of client business objectives and the plans in place to attain those objectives
Develop and execute the development of account management and sales strategy
Identify, engage, and bring new consulting opportunities, build a pipeline and roadmap
Partnership
Develop value propositions for multiple partner channels and the appropriate support and sales tools to ensure engagement and high levels of activity
Cultivate and maintain strong executive relationships with key decision-makers in partner organizations to secure new business
Required Skills
8+ years of experience in IT industry (software development, consulting, team lead, director, management), where 2+ years experience working as IT-consultant manager
Experienced in prospect identification, client development, proposal generation, negotiation and closing
Experienced in meeting or exceeding account team expectation
Demonstrated ability to effectively develop and retain consultants
Effective communication skills at all organizational levels, including written, oral, and presentation skills in Swedish and English
Demonstrated ability to function in dynamic environments, whether leading or following
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience

Compensation
Salary
Base Salary: up to 60K SEK per month (based on experience & skill set)
