Job Description:
Build microservices and RESTful APIs with GoLang
Design, code, and maintain Kubernetes add-ons, Controllers and Operators
Contribute to all stages in the product life cycle: design, implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance
Write code that is well tested, understandable, and maintainable
Collaborate among cross-functional, vertical team that focus on different development areas: back-end, front-end, devops
Take ownership for your stories, product, and deliverables
Required Skills:
5 years of overall software development experience
2+ years of strong API development experience in GoLang (preferred), Java or Python
Solid knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes (preferred)
Understanding of RESTful APIs and gRPC
Practical knowledge of micro-services and event-driven design patterns
Experience with DevOps and CI/CD pipelines
Data modeling expertise in a relational or NoSQL datastore
Quality Assurance experience and mindset
You’re open to work on different tools, languages and areas of development based on need and requirements
Interested in the Kubernetes ecosystem and have a strong eagerness to learn and grow in a fast paced, challenging environment
You are humble, team-oriented and have low ego
Excellent communication skills
Skills that will set you apart:
Solid understanding of core components of Golang like go-routines, channels, go-modules, godep
Understanding and hands-on experience with Kubernetes Controllers and Operators, and its development
Experience building MVPs
Data science experience
