About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and well-spoken Sales Development Representative to join our sales team. You will be responsible for developing new leads, book meetings, communicating with customers, understanding their needs, and ensuring a smooth sales process.
Requirements
Primary Job Responsibilities
Proactively contact via outbound calling and digital outreach targeting prospects in support of sales and marketing campaign initiatives.
Help increase the quality of opportunities in the pipeline and create a critical mass of shortlisted opportunities.
Secure key customer information to identify validated “sales ready” leads and prospective clients to nurture for future opportunities.
Qualify prospects and set appointments.
Develop a social presence through your rep page (e.g. LinkedIn) and social media to drive interest and leads.
Collaborate with marketing and sales leadership to execute targeted new business campaigns.
Expertly research companies and contacts via the internet and other sales resources.
Nurture customer relationships as needed for the more complex sale or solution sales
Monitoring developments in the business community and using this information to be more effective in discussions with prospects and customers
Required Skills
At least 2+ years of previous experience in an outbound call center or a related sales position preferred.
Stellar communication skills, both verbal and written.
Great organizational skills and the ability to multitask.
Good time management skills
