Requirements
Job Description:
R&D on Kubernetes, OpenShift and CI/CD pipelines
Design, code, and maintain Kubernetes add-ons, controllers and operators in Golang
Take ownership of all stages in the product life cycle: design, implementation, testing, deployment, release and maintenance
Collaborate with cross-functional, vertical teams with their own focus areas
Take ownership of incident management and SLI/SLOSupport customers with their requirements and issues
Deploy and maintain Kubernetes/OpenShift clusters, environments and workloads
Maintain EFK container-native logging solutions (Elasticsearch, Fluentd, Kibana)
Maintain container-native monitoring solutions (Prometheus, Alertmanager, Grafana, PagerDuty)
Effectively use git to implement GitOps paradigm
Create CI/CD pipelines for customersCreate Helm charts for customer applications
Preferred Experience:
5+ years of experience as cloud developer or SRE
2+ years of strong API development experience in Golang1+ years of quality assurance1+ years of release management1+ years of Kubernetes experienceStrong conceptual and practical foundation of cloud computing including containers, compute storage and networking
Solid understanding of core components of Golang like go-routines, channels, go-modules, godep
Experience with IaC such as Terraform, Pulumi, CloudFormation or Crossplane
Experience with CI/CD tools like ArgoCD, Tekton, Flux, GitHub Actions or GitLab CI/CD
Intermediate to expert knowledge of Linux OS and shell scripting
Strong conceptual and practical foundation of core computer science concepts such as algorithms and data structures
Practical knowledge of micro-services and event-driven design patterns
Things that set you apart:
Kubernetes Certifications CKA, CKAD and CKS
Experience with Tekton
Experience in developing Kubernetes Operator
Active in Open Source community
Experience of gRPC
Data modeling expertise in a relational or NoSQL datastore
Open to work on different tools, languages and areas based on need and requirements
