Solution & Services offered

Stakater provided a comprehensive solution by deploying a team of skilled platform engineers, devops engineers, and full stack engineers to collaborate with UC's diverse development teams. The primary objective was to facilitate the seamless migration and refactoring of Java-based workloads from traditional virtual machines to modern containerized environments powered by OpenShift.

In the process, Stakater played a pivotal role in establishing a robust hybrid cloud environment. This involved the deployment of OpenShift both on-premises and on AWS, enabling UC to harness the benefits of a flexible and scalable infrastructure. Stakater's expertise extended to configuring and optimizing the OpenShift setup, ensuring optimal performance and resource utilization across both on-premises and cloud-based deployments.

Furthermore, Stakater actively contributed to the evolution of UC's development practices by implementing cutting-edge CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment) pipelines. These pipelines were tailored to the specific needs of the organization, providing a streamlined and automated approach to software delivery. Stakater's collaboration in building these pipelines not only accelerated the development lifecycle but also facilitated the smooth integration of new microservices-based solutions into UC's existing architecture.

In summary, Stakater's engagement went beyond the mere migration and refactoring tasks. It encompassed the establishment of a hybrid cloud infrastructure, the optimization of OpenShift deployments, and the implementation of efficient CI/CD pipelines – all working cohesively to empower UC's development teams in embracing modern, containerized, and microservices-oriented solutions.
